The Library
Step Inside
Five worlds of stories, each about three minutes long. Read one tonight, or wander through them all.
The Hundred Acre Wood
Pooh's honey pot is empty and he thinks the day might be ruined. Piglet walks into a storm he is far too small for. Eeyore's house falls down again, and nobody asked anyone to rebuild it.
The Land of Oz
A cyclone picks up a farmhouse with a girl inside it. A scarecrow listens to crows tell him he has no brain. A tin man rusts in a clearing for a year because nobody comes.
Wonderland
The Mad Hatter has been stuck at six o'clock for longer than he can remember, and nobody has ever asked him if he minds. A cat keeps disappearing and is not sure he comes back whole.
Aesop's Workshop
A tortoise challenges the fastest animal in the meadow to a race. A lion laughs at a mouse who says she will repay him. A boy shouts wolf so many times that when the wolf comes, nobody does.
The Oldest Stories
They threw him into a pit full of lions because he would not stop praying. God told another man to go east and he went west, and a giant fish swallowed him whole. A third ran away, spent everything, and ended up so hungry he wanted to eat what the pigs were eating.
The Library is Growing
Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Little Mermaid, Felix the Cat, Beauty and the Beast. Each world will have its own stories, its own characters, and its own quiet lessons. They arrive as they are written.
